When accessing our Website, Global Analyst Academy will learn certain information about you during your visit. How we will handle information we learn about you depends upon what you do when visiting our site.
If you visit our site to read or download information on our pages, we collect and store only the following information about you:
(a) The name of the domain from which you access the Internet
(b) The date and time you access our site
(c) The Internet address of the website you used to link directly to our site.
If you identify yourself by sending us an e-mail containing personal information, then the information collected will be solely used to respond to your message.
The information collected is for statistical purposes. Global Analyst Academy may use software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.
Participation in any of the Global Analyst Academy (GAA) programs indicates that you accept these terms and conditions. GAA may occasionally change these terms and conditions.
Global Analyst Academy will receive your registration details and you will receive an email acknowledging that GAA has received and accepted your registration. Your registration for any of GAA programs is not complete without payment. All participants registered for GAA programs must have sufficient knowledge of the English language to participate in any program.
GAA offers paid programs. Payment in full, or as agreed, is required at the time of registration to confirm acceptance into the program. This is a non-refundable fee. All payment is billed in Naira. For foreign Participants, payment may be made via MasterCard, or Visa. Changes in currency rates are non-refundable.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Acceptance into any of the GAA programs upon payment confirms a position and bumps other applications off. Should you wish to cancel attendance of the program at any time; a written request will need to be made. Refunds are only provided before a cohort begins. A call for refund by the participant will not be honoured after the cohort has started. Up to 30% of the complete tuition may be refunded at discretion following that the cohort has not started and the program was paid for in full at registration
GAA will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the course as outlined on the website. However, GAA reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to the content and syllabus of a course when necessary.
It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain and maintain the proper device required to participate in GAA’s online course. When accessing the online course and/or the website, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Participants are liable for any damage on their devices during this program.
Participants will be expected to behave themselves in alignment with the program plan. GAA reserves the right to remove any participant from the course who does not respect these guidelines and/or fellow participants. Each participant is responsible for all of his or her acts along with any loss or damage resulting from those acts while on the program. Participants are expected to fully complete all the courses (digital and physical courses) at scheduled timelines. Participants are expected to be punctual and adhere to laid down instructions which may be provided through the course of training.
If a participant wishes to make a complaint in relation to the program, he/she shall bring the complaint to the attention of the Program Manager-, who shall use his/her best endeavours to resolve the complaint within a reasonable time. If the Program Manager is unable to resolve a serious complaint, and the participant leaves the program before the completion date, the participant shall provide GAA with a written version of events.
Unless this agreement expressly states otherwise, a notice, consent, approval, waiver or other communication (notice) in connection with this agreement must be in writing. Any notice from GAA, given under this Agreement shall be done through email and will be addressed to the email addresses noted in the participant particulars submitted during registration or as amended by notice from time to time. Participants agree with the communication, billing and automatic reminders through email. A notice will be deemed to be received 24 hours after sending.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that GAA is informed of any change in address, telephone and email details. Participants are to notify Program Manager of reason for not completing a course or absence at any class. This should be done, at least, THREE days to the scheduled day. Likewise, any hitch which results into inability to take the online course should be reported immediately to the Program Manager. After investigation, if found true, such Participants will be free from sanction.
Participants agree to hold GAA and all its staffs and representatives harmless for any injury incurred through the use of, or the inability to use this website, and at physical classrooms. Participants agree to fully indemnify and hold GAA harmless from and against all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, costs, expenses, fees and damages arising out of or related to:
(i) any breach by the participant of this Agreement;
(ii) any damages, losses, personal injury, property damage, fines, assessments, fees or costs that are caused to or asserted against GAA as a result of his/her actions, inaction or omissions; or
(iii) any contractual claim or other cause of action asserted against GAA as a result of his/her conduct and/or failure to complete the program as required.
Release and waivers of Liabilities
Save for rights of refunds of payments to participant under this agreement, Participants hereby fully, permanently and irrevocably release, forever discharge and agree not to sue GAA, including any and all of its successors and assigns, its agents, managers, participants, applicants, members, employees, officers or representatives, and any country coordinators, volunteer coordinators, or other persons, entities, parties, organizations or agencies collaborating with GAA (collectively “released parties”), voluntarily and without duress, from any and all actions, suits, liability, claims, demands, losses, costs and/or causes of action for damages or other legal or equitable relief of any nature including, without limitation, claims for personal injury, emotional injury, illness, disease, death, property damage or other losses, expenses and/or damages (collectively “claims”), which may hereafter arise from any cause whatsoever, Including, without limitation, that arising from his/her participation in any project or placement and/or any project, activity or event sponsored, managed, arranged, or promoted by, or otherwise affiliated or associated with GAA, whether or not foreseeable or contributed to by the negligent acts or omissions of GAA or others.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without reference to the principles of conflicts of laws thereof. Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively in the State and Federal Courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, Global Analyst Academy uses software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Global Analyst Academy will not obtain personally-identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us, nor will such information be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without the approval of the user at the time of collection.
